BC left last Thursday for SLC for a graduation/holiday trip. She was not scheduled to be back until after Christmas. Yesterday, after viewing the weather forecast, they decided to go ahead and start for home to beat the snow storms. She made it to her destination last night and will spend the day there then begin her journey home the next day. We were pleasantly surprised to have a text message from her when we got out of church with the news. Only problem now is that she will have no Christmas presents. Her present was the trip and lots of gear and clothing for the trip. She got everything before the trip and now there is nothing under the tree for her. Well, maybe her siblings will share, hopefully. We are so happy that she will be home soon. I have been so worried about the long drive and the snow and ice they would be traveling through. Keep her in your prayers for a safe journey home.
