Bradley got a new horse, she was not in a very good home but she is now in her forever home and is receiving plenty of love, attention, nutrition and training. She is beautiful as you can see, but she does have some scars on her face where her old parents left a halter on her that was too small. She is still a little underweight, but we are working on that, as well as her muscle tone. Bradley has been wanting to work with her since we got her last week, but her feet were bad and the weather as been awful and she needed some time to calm down a bit. She is half Arabian and half Paint, so she is a little high strung. We had her feet done yesterday so Bradley began working with her today. When the morning began, she was jumping and bucking . She wouldn't listen to basic commands and would not perform basic drills. By the end of the day.....well you will see.

Here he is lunging her. It took her a bit to work out this technique, but now she is a pro.

He got a saddle on her after about two hours. She did really well. And didn't act too silly.

He decided that it would be best if Brady Lou rode her first. I don't really know how that was the best idea. Thankfully it worked out.

Here she is all by herself. Fancy was amazing today.

Finally, after several hours, here she is. Bradley has amazing patience and skills.

Here is the finished project, after only one day of work. We are so proud. It not only took patience, but loads of courage and dedication. Bradley has a kind spirit and Fancy is very trusting of him.
